The House is situated in a tranquil village, 4km from the small but bustling town of Gois, Central Portugal.

To the exterior of the house is a covered barbecue area with built in barbeque and L shaped seating, useable all year round. A further walled seating area is beyond the barbeque area.
The house has a large garden with a natural well perfect for irrigation, the established garden has many fruit trees, olive trees and more excellent quality vines, on average the grapes produce 120 liters of very tasty wine each year.
The house has a new roof, fully insulated, has been rewired and plumbed, new windows throughout and has high speed fiber optic internet.

The village has many services attending population during the week, fresh bread is delivered daily, local cheeses and fresh fish twice a week, locally grown vegetables brought to the village on a Monday. The village also has a mobile library once a month. If you have animals a local vet visits regularly, for general treatments, worming, vaccination, and Id chipping of all animals. We also have a village club, Liga Dos Amigos, regularly throughout the year, it provides special dinners and entertainment like traditional Fado nights. This village also celebrates many parties, in August we have the sardine festival. The local coffee shop is a five minute walk, and the bus service is second to none, with connecting buses taking you to the Algarve, Coimbra, Porto, Lisbon and all over should you wish.

Gois is a bustling town 4km away, although a small town in Central Portugal Gois boasts a number of river beaches, many bars, cafes and restaurants, supermarkets, banks, doctors surgery and a primary and secondary school, that offers childcare during the summer holidays and other breaks in the school calendar. It hosts many events throughout the summer including the Honey and Chestnut event in the autumn and the famous Motorbike gathering in August (Portugal’s 2nd largest)
