The local town is bustling, with good shopping, plenty of places to eat and drink, plus all major services including schools, a small hospital and a veterinary clinic. Road access to the major cities of Coimbra, Porto and Lisbon is good. The amazing beaches of the Silver Coast are close enough for an easy day out.
Yes, the cottage requires more work, but the major services, water, fossa and electricity are installed, plus, there is already some comfortable living accommodation – if you are contemplating the purchase of an older house that makes this one well worth considering.
